It was an honor to receive the Republican nomination for State Comptroller by a wide margin. But, this is just the first hurdle that I will need to clear to become the Republican candidate for State Comptroller this fall.
My opponent at the convention, Mark Greenberg, after barely getting above 20 percent of the delegates at the convention has filed his paperwork to primary me this August.
I have nothing personally against Mark, but his three failed attempts at running for Congress and his poor performance at the convention should have been a clear sign to him that his message is not resonating with voters.
There is no doubt that Mark will now try to buy his way onto the ticket in November.
As the Republican-endorsed candidate, I will need your help to go up against Mark and his millions.
My goal this week is to raise $2000 – I am asking 40 people to donate $50 or more to help us not just reach the goal but surpass it. You can donate by clicking on the link below, emailing at Kurt@KurtforCT.com, or calling me on my cell at 203-751-1848.
We need a proven winner and reformer on the ballot this November. I hope to have your support on Tuesday, August 14th.
